What's the best way for people with conservative values to have a positive impact nowadays... Churches have been shut down or we have been too fearful to attend. Good right wing values are censored into oblivion (for example: https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2019/01/16/google-youtube-search-blacklist-smoking-gun/).

It seems like there are a dozen ways being on either the right wing or being on the left wing can damage the soul.

Is some soul-searching a part of your weekly routine? Or is the pattern of your life already as good as it can possibly be.

You could instead of worrying about the abstract reality of your political views just focus on just being a good person and engage those external morals you were touting in a previous post.

Focus on doing the right thing, on being nice to your fellow human beings, focus on being kind. Help a stranger, devote some time to charity.
Focus on being a good father, a good husband or boyfriend, on being a good employee

Focus less time on stirring up the non pumpkin related board, instigating discussion and trying to provoke with an endless stream of questions that have no real answer but just a point of view.

If you focus on positive things a positive impact is inevitable.

Your last sentence is the law of attraction. Is this more than a self centered tool for getting what we want? Is it an opening to goodness within the soul...? Possibly.

Instigating discussion about having a positive impact is a bad thing? What the heck else are we going to talk about. So, what do you want to talk about F&T. What things float your boat more than posting to the non pumpkin board?

Yeah... take a break, come unhinged (in a good way of course) from your own cares and worries. That never hurt.

Make new friends or at least take a moment to be friendly. Probably healthy regardless of politics. That's the kind of thing I was thinking about. We have to share a lot of positive things in common but it starts to feel like that's not the case when the focus is too much on fighting and winning. Things do get too narrow.
