We're surrounded by half truths. Maybe its helping, but they're doing it at the same time as they're raising borrowing costs. There's shock absober technology that could increase vehicle efficiency but no one will implement anything new unless the prices are higher. We are going to end up with the worst of both worlds by kicking this empty fuel can down the road.
