Ok i am not exactly a new grower but because of some flukes of nature in the last couple of years. So i need some advise on prunning techniques, particularly on what to do and not to do.

bryce,, when the secondaries start to grow out,, about 3 to 4 feet, train them to run perpendicular to the main,, basic ,, you know this ,, but if u want to bury at this point,, ,, leave the leaf,, and trim the terts off as they start to grow in,, otherwise you will end up with a tangled mess that hard to get back under control, also.. some thing.. that we did this season,, was cut all the junk growth off and from around the main stump,, to keep a better eye on it ,,

when the 2ndaries get out about 8 to 10 feet, depending on the size of ur patch area,, terminate,, the ends, some folks like to remove the 3 or 4 2andies vine,, some dont,, i ill try that on 1 plant this season,, i think it will give plant more vigor,, but dot quote me on it , also,, went u get fruit set, on a couple of pollinations,, decide which 1 is growing the best,, and keep it , make sure you make a S curve at them to adjust fruits,, before they get in a hole,, so to speak, lol, just my thoughts curt

we dont bury the vines after we have selected the fruit,, but we do train and prune it back around so its out off the way of fruit removal,
