Is there a growers club for Illinois growers? I have been looking at the auctions, message boards, etc looking for a group that covers Illinois and haven't seen one yet. I did notice that it looks like there was only one official way in in the whole state in 2012.

I am about 10 minutes from the Illinois border and don't know of any in the southern part but could be wrong. Go to grower diaries and do a search for Shazzy (2012). He is a very involved grower in N. Illinois and can help you out. Plus, the dude can grow some BIG pumpkins.

There you will be greeted by Shazzy's ugly mug and the state record pumpkin. I try to update club information there. We are a small club with members scattered around the state.

where is princeville? i live in joliet 5 minutes from shazzy. I met him last year and we are 45 minutes south of chicago. I just was talking to him about meeting up with the local club.
