I have noticed that some of the male flowers I've brought in for pollination don't seem to have as much pollen on them. Maybe even a darker color than the pollen on the ones left to open in the patch. Would that mean the pollen isn't viable? I just wonder cause I've had problems getting mine to set.

Almost sounds like you're bringing in flowers that have opened and reclosed...is that a possibility?
