I can't seem to find anything written about terminating the vines of fruited watermelon and suspect that maybe you shouldn't since I can't find anyone saying so, but my sense tells me they are cucurbits, like the pumpkin family and should be treated the same way......I also see one fruit per vine, and that makes sense.
