Subject: Soil test on new garden area 5000 sq. feet

I took a soil sample on the new area I am developing for garden. I did garden a very small portion of it for last 3 years but have made it 50 x 100 or 5000 sq. feet.

At a glance your CA base saturation and pH level could both use an upward push. Not knowing where Going Green is located, if you can get hold of spent mushroom soil it will do both for you while adding to your OM as well. Just make sure it is A) spent and B) aged as salt content can be high in some cases.

PF, take soil sample to your local extension (usually a county thing) agent....might not be the best analysis, but might be....plus is you have a hand to shake....a real person!!!! Hope this helps!!!! I have had them offer to come to my house!!!!!! PS...it's cheap!!!! LOL Peace, Wayne
