Is there any way to know which way the main vine will sprout from? I have read that it will grow out 90 degrees from the first true leaf, not sure if i have read that correct or not. If i have, Does this mean that after you have your first two leafs when it first spouts, you get the main leafs growing 90 degrees from these leafs, so the main vine will generally grow in the same direction as the first leafs from sprouting? So basically the vine will grow out 90 degrees from the first true large growing leaf? If i am still correct, which side of 90 degrees does it usally grow from? If you are standing at the root or the plant looking at the leaf so that the leaf is growing away from you, does it grow from the left or right of this leaf. Sorry for babbling on, just trying to make it clear as to what i am trying to find out.
All information is always appreciated. Cheers. Peter.

Most of the time, ~180 degrees or opposite of the first true leaf. There are exceptions.

I heard from Ron Wallace in the How I Grow The WR 2009 and 1872 DVD, that the vine grow opposite of the first true leaf most of the time. Very rarely the vine could grow over the top of the plant in the same direction as the first true leaf.
