Have a plant with what looks like 3 primary vines. Would it be best to pinch two off now? If I let them all grow and only let one set fruit would the other two act as feeders or just sap energy from the one with fruit? Thanks.

In my second year of growing, last year and this year I had plants that threw more than one main. Last year I didn't cut the extras off- can you say vine jungle? This year I wacked all of the extras. I chose the strongest looking on and went with that one.

Why not let them grow as secondarys?

Think letting them grow a few feet then cutting the tip and burying would give benefit without contributing too much vine mess?
