Hey guys, yesterday I removed a leaf that was aphid and mildew invested, growing beneath the main canopy...upon cutting the stalk, water literally gushed out for a second. Just out of curiosity, I removed another decrepit leaf, and the same happened. Is this a sign of over watering? I haven't watered more than over the past several months and never had this issue before, but the pumpkin is hardly gaining, so perhaps there's extra going around. Thanks!

Happens quite a bit here too like the hollow stalk was filled with water. I definitely don't over water so not sure on why.

Ha! Thanks for the quick replies guys, I'll make sure to not turn the water timer off, then.

Broken down (near dead) leaves will hold water like that. Its not over watering. You may want to cut those leaves flush with their vine to avoid rot.
