i have read on bp, that some people use coffee grounds on their patch; just wondering how much,and when to apply?? i can get the grounds from a few coffee shops in my area, so i will try it out;;thank you.

No more than 25% of your compost should be coffee grounds. An inch on top of your soil in the fall before tilling is plenty.

yeah thanks steve, i have a lot to learn, and will try coffee grounds and see how i go.i have a new patch and i have about three months before i put in my plants;
