Any good (low cost) ideas on how to battle this heat? My plants are absolutely hating life, and the only thing I have been able to do for em is provide a little extra water every couple hours. I do not want this heat to be the end of my rookie season.

I make piles of dirt, then I dump mycho on the piles, I then use that to bury vines...the extra roots keep my leaves from wilting right up to 105F

Disclaimer #1:I grow in greenhouse so outside they might wilt at 95F Disclaimer #2:I have only used the RTI mycho ( the stuff R Wallace is now selling)

Thanks for the quick response, I am already buried at every leaf node with mycorrhizae. I am also currently providing water every couple hours at each node and the main stump in an attempt to hopefully cool things down. Maybe water with so liquid mycos added? Current temp 102°F soil temp unknown?

Yeah I am all outside, and I am using the extreme gardening brand mycos (granule) and have a fox farm brand liquid mycos.

If you got good drainage, extra water is no problem...if not look at some misting options..To check I just dig down around front of plant..if its wet..you need misters...damp soil is what you want...not wet
