I have pretty lady that is about to bloom in the next day or 2, the fruit part is touching between the main vine and one of the curly thin vines. Then the leaf is right there as well. I cannot get pic to upload from my iphone. So my question is, do I leave it be or is there something I should cut?
Then I have another plant that doesnt look like its going to vine out. Its just a few feet away from my main pumpkin plant. Should I go ahead and dig it up? It has male flowers coming out from the center, but not vining out. I am thinking its probably taking away from valuable nutrients from the main plant. Suggestions?

Remove anything thats touching the fruit, a tiny scar now will enlarge as the pumpkin grows.
Keep the small plant if you would like to get seeds or a smaller size pumpkin as long as your not crowding out your larger plant it probable wont matter much
