I did a little searching on the site and didn't find exactly what I was looking for. So I wanted to confirm here.

I've had to do a lot of cutting due to vine borers. See my diary for the disaster that is my patch. (Not all hope is lost though.)

I used dilute alcohol to wash out the cut areas yesterday, but today it didn't seem like enough.

Seems like best procedure with what I have on hand would be to wash the cuts with dilute bleach, and then apply Bordeaux powder. Would you suggest hydrogen peroxide over the bleach solution?

If bleach, what ratio is best?

** Note - due to the number of cuts, and the distance to the house, putting fans on them isn't an option. Covering them might be, but it will be a bit of work. I should probably come up with some sort of simple system. Hmm... I'll think about it today. :)

Farming- a bunch of catastrophies that result in a lifestyle

Wash out with peroxide, dry as well as possible and in lieu of fans try to get some sun exposure by removing leaf above cut. It does help keep rot at bay.
