Is it too late once it's showed up and started to kill off leaves? What should I do, I removed the most infected areas and sprayed neem on the rest of the plant. Is this common this early in August, first year grower all suggestions and feedback welcomed. Thanks

It´s not too late. What you have done so far sounds reasonable to me (although I prefer the milk spray to protect the leaves which aren´t infected yet). Early or late, it depends on weather conditions, overall plant health, spore concentrations etc., and getting PM as early as end of July, beginning of August is the best that can happen to you (for your next pumpkin seasons), because you won´t forget it and you will try to prevent PM even in June and July the next years even before the first signs of PM show up.

In addition to what you have done so far, check the plant for overlapping leaves, these are the areas where the next PM growth will probably start. Remove leaves which show heavy overlap, and in case of slightly overlapping leaves make sure you have treated the whole leaf area with whatever you are spraying to prevent PM.

Had it show up early this year. Tried infuse for the first time and it stopped it dead in its tracks.
