On monday a groundhog chewed on my pumpkin i asked some folks here about what to do (got lots of help thanks) but how long should i keep the sulfur on and the fan going its been 4 days no bleeding and the area isn't getting soft, when do i know for sure that its not going to go bad

Relieved to hear your fruit is okay! Here's my tale:

One day, when my "giant" pumpkin was only about 15 lb., I came out of the house,and saw that the garden gate had come loose in the wind and the chickens had entered. Ahem. They had made short work of the lettuce patch, disturbed the mulch all over and scratched into the soil (they love the worms hiding under the mulch) and evidence was that they had then proceeded to the corner where Kin is.

Well, my chickens just love squashes & pumpkins. I could barely make myself look - but there she was, my little kin, and all was well, my little dearie utterly unmolested. The chickens had all left the garden without touching her.

So, there is a God...
