May be a stupid question but I see everyone talking about growing on mill fabric but every search I have tried shows up nothing except clothing stores. What is it and where can it be purchased?

Look in "Equipment for Sale" on the message board. I got some last year from a guy Dan. I forget his last name.

Bma113, here is a link for mill fabric. Mill fabric is basically a woven material that can withstand the weather and give a smooth surface for a pumpkin/squash to grow on. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=outdoor+mill+fabric&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xexterior+grade+mill+fabric.TRS0&_nkw=exterior+grade+mill+fabric&_sacat=0

Ha, back in 2011 I was at all the local stores asking about mill fabric and everyone looked at me like I was crazy. They were right, but as Dan said check equipment for sale section. Once you get it, it lasts for years.

Ha!!! You only hurt my feelings a little bit. Hopefully I can make my first season a success by continuing to ask stupid questions!!! There is so much info out there that for someone new it gets a little overwhelming. I have been planning my first attempt for the last 2 yrs. I didn't want to jump in the pond with out at least knowing how to tread water!!!
