Likely not on the keeper, but one of pollinations has a funnel or cone blossom nub - http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=260975. Not seen one like that on any of the pics here - is that uncommon? http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=260975 Bit of oozing around edge of nub. On same plant, another has same thing, where as a third has the normal nub. Does it cause any issues down the line, or just a quirk of pumpkin?

The only issue I ever had with this type of blossom is that it will look like a baboon's butt.

Looks interesting. I would like to also know what causes this formation. Maybe take a look at the genetics of the parent seeds. http://tools.pumpkinfanatic.com/
Its possible this may have occurred somewhere in the previous genetics.

I have seen a couple like that that made it to weigh off. It does look like you will need plenty of captan and maybe a fan, but it should be fine.
