I would keep the vines loose, be prepared to move her a few times, and put some short stakes in front of the vine and use pantyhose to slowy draw them away from the pumpkin as it starts growin...this is our fitfh year...I still can't get the dam s-curve right...Darren c has a nice pic showing how the vine should look..(and a nice lookin kin to boot)...

I haven't moved it in the last few days, right now the main doesn't look as tight. What I worry about is when it gets to big to move. I will bust out the winches and come alongs if I have to.
