Just wondering if anyone is growing the 1049 (2013) this season? I see some of the background genetics - 1049 from 2013 which was a 979 McMillan X 1257 Northrup cross. So far, I have a nice orange pumpkin with a few white stripes. We have had some really brutal heat and way too much rain. Mainly focusing on burying vines, keeping the stem parallel with the ground and watching for any virus/bacterial attacks. A number of neighboring gardeners are really in bad shape in our community garden plots.

Biddygoat - I have grown it as well as other growers and it produces a tall dark orange kin just like the parent.
