What might cause a pumpkin to grow slowly from the start gaining 4" in cc per day and then slow down even more to about 2.5"-1.5" in cc per day by Dap 25 and each day after ?

Henry the 2016 crusher!

Topsfield

The weather could affect the growth in a pumpkin. If it is cold then the pumpkin may slow down on its growth

We have been getting less rain this year than last year.

24, are you watering the plant to make up for the lack of rain? I wish I had that problem! Soil sample results? Tissue sample results? Have you been feeding the BEAST? Lots of variables? Prbly not cold on 8/1, in IL...Silly Henry from Topsfield...& thinkin that there is an awesome weighoff in Topsfield...? Peace, Wayne

I have been trying to water my plant, but it is not enough. I have been using two containers that equal 150 gallons when filled completely with water. They are connected together to a drip system to even water the patch. I think my plant the 504 Chandler that is growing on Scarface has a poor root system. I did get a soil test done back a March, but have not ever done a tissue test. I have been feeding my kin, but could be feeding more.

Try a solution of peroxide and water or maybe do not dilute the peroxide. Apply it with a Qtip or small brush then apply your fan. I turned on your water tank today and flushed out the crud between the valve and hose.
