I got a soil sample test back from my extension office and the results are showing high levels of magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and zinc. Will this present a problem with these nutrients being too high? Also is 7.6 pH too high out of the best range? Thank you.

Rich, welcome to growing AG's in KY. Hopefully someone smarter than I will respond. Thinking that somewhere near neutral ph is best...7.0 to 7.2. Peace, Wayne

A short answer would be no to your nutrient question.Balance between certain nutrients is important(eg calcium magnesium ratio is important).7.6 ph isnt ideal-so yes lower it.Western Lab parma Idaho gives balance suggestions with there soil tests--I highly recommend them--and welcome to the madness

I too would send a test to western labs...they test specifically as it pertains to the Giants...I'm pretty sure they send recommendations on how to adjust... Or repost test results here and someone will know how to read them...ph is too high...not that you can't still grow a big one but the plant feeds better when the ph is 6.5-7...adjust soil ph slowly

Thanks, folks. Perhaps things aren't as bad as I had supposed.

Yes, what HankH said. I send one to UK and Western. UK says my Ph was 7.8, Western says 7.1.
Grew 1,000 pounds this year in 7.8...lol
