I have a situation that I need advice on. this morning I was getting impatient fir my seeds to surface, so I went poking around in the pots and the first one that I found I accidentally broke part of the root off. Will this start die?

Maybe but it will probably survive. Cover lightly with soil and see if it comes up. Have a backup seed started in case it doesn't take. Some seeds take longer to germinate than others. Next time you get impatient hit yourself in the head with a 2x4 first before pawing around. Worked for me.

I do have five other ones planted. I will only grow three, and was hoping to give three to some of my friends ( try to get a friendly ( or cutthroat ) competition going)
