I have a 35 DAP pumpkin that’s gaining 15-20lbs/day right now. There’s a fair in October I’m thinking to enter her in but I’d like her to be at least 1,000lbs to make the drive. Is it realistic that she’ll continue to gain 15lbs/day for the next 50 days? My other two are older and stopped growing this week, at about day 60 so I’m thinking she’ll slow down and stop to? (Although she’s the biggest and has had the best growth)

If its at its peak growth now at 15-20 pounds per day then you wont keep that for 50 days. If the gains per day are still rising you could hit 1000

I normally end up with a pumpkin that weighs twice as much as it did on day 35. My gains really drop off after day 50 to the point of thinking its not growing but still get 20-30" more by day 85. Keep the plant healthy

6-8 hundred is the range I would expect.
