Tom, just hire an ad agency to design a logo for the GPC and forward it to me. I'll see it gets to the right people and surely make sure you get the BP.Com coffee mug for the winning entry!!! It's that easy, honest! hee hee hee Duff

So what do they want? A graphic Icon? Something that says GPC? anything else? A plain graphic depicting without words, or graphic and text?

Dialogue with Frank Edwards would be good. His work is great.

If they knew what they wanted, there wouldn't be a contest.
The operative phrase is: "logo with an international flair"
You can submit as many entries as you would like.

Hey, I just realized this thread was here! I don't stray from "General Discussion" or "Genetics" much. Guess I should get out more! For anyone looking for design direction, I'd recommend checking out the GPC mission statement. A good logo is one that visually communicates the mission statement...

Since we are talking about 'international flair', anybody know what countries are officially part of the GPC?

TO GPC Judges: I sent in a bunch of concepts to the contest e-mail address last week. Since there were many .jpg attachments to the one e-mail, I'm not confident they were received on your end. Did you get them? If not, please let me know and I'll resend one at a time... Frank

No, we had 72 entries and asked for opinions of those attending the seminar. We will now review those preferred and the committee will choose from those deserving entries.
