Is there a list of 2005 site weigh off dates available? Our usual GPC site (St. Johns, MI) changed its date to the last Saturday in September, which conflicts with our club's event. We are trying to determine whether we must change our date, or if we have other options in Michigan, northern Ohio or northern Indiana for GPC sites on another date. Because we need to reserve our location soon, a quick response would be most appreciated. Thank you, Todd Swarts

Hopefully Dave M. will post with the official word on the issue, but I'm willing to bet that most GPC weigh offs will stay put on dates, even if they have not yet officially declared so. I'm sure you would find something you could drive to on the first Sat in October in Ohio, Indiana - or even Port Elgin would be a fun trip, but who knows what kind of search the bridge customs agents do on a flatbed of 1000#ers?!?
But I'd hate not to see you guys at St. John's. How about Clare Sept 17, St. John's 25th, leaving you open for Port Elgin or Canfield on the 1st? Or do St. John's on the 25th, then your Clare event on Oct. 1? Save your biggies for Clare and before you know it, the Clare weigh off may become the weigh off of choice in Michigan. ("If you build it they will come")?!?
Just my idle ramblings...I'm still hoping my local weigh off in Zeeland comes back this year...my kids love to be on the 'big pumpkin' float in the pumpkin parade...
