I figured it was time to get an update out for grower of the year in the GPC. With the early sites results in and a big weekend ahead it will be interesting to see who will take the first honors. As I have it the top four listed bellow, remeber it is not to late to get your 3 fruit in to a GPC contest to win top honors.
1) Ron Wallace- 1347.5, 1140 = 2487.5 2) Joe Jutras- 1169, 1054.5 = 2223.5 3) Quinn Werner-1090.5, 1005.9= 2096.4 4) Dan Mckie- 1065.5, 1015.5 = 2081

Dave:
For Brant, wouldn't it be:
1131 + 1058 = 2189
His squash was his biggest entry at Hugli's + the 1058 from Cornerstone. Is it the single heaviest fruit from 3 different GPC sites, regardless of color?

At least I am not the only one watching for grower of the year, thank you for fixing my over sites. Frank you are right for grower of the year weight is the only defining criteria. So going into this weekend the standings are as follows:
1) Ron Wallace - 2487.5 2) Todd Kline - 2251.5 3) Joe Jutras - 2223.5 4) Brant Timm - 2189 5) Quinn Werner - 2096.4 6) Dan Mckie - 2081
How is that Mr. Sec.? Thanks for keeping me on my toes and my eyebrow combed back LOL, Frank great point on the squash thanks for the post. I also noticed alot of big fruit that only need 2 more to put them in the hunt, 3 of which are from Michigan and I'll bet they aren't done yet.

We are not done yet here in Ontario so don't give away the prizes yet. Yes, I thought the squash would count but i was just teasing Stelts. it's going to be an interesting race to the finish. Dave
