i must say that this award has proven to be the hardest decision the executive committee has ever made. after alot of debate and a split decision we have a winner. but first i would like to thank the finalist for producing the beautiful fruit that made it very hard to decide. todd kline 1,250 bill clark 1,099 darrel leonard 901.5
and the winner (in my opion they are all winners)is... george manuel 624 shown at windsor n.s. congratulations!!!!

Windsor had trouble entering data in the GPC tables. I spoke with Ken regarding that matter today & we're working on a solution.
I have pictures of the BEAUTIFUL 624 Manuel '06 (500 Northup x 410 Keel).
I'll send them to Mike later tonight.

Congratulations to George Manuel! Truly a well deserved award to a grower who has been trying very hard over the years to grow a nice orange AG. The seed that grew it; 500 Northrup '04, also deserves the utmost recognition as it, too, has become a hot 'orange' producer in recent years. Look no further than 1247 Tingley '05, 1130 Powers '06, 875 Northrup '06, 547 Harnica '06 (Michigan Top Orange), 884 Ornskov '06 (Sweden), to name a few. Also, we would like to extend our congrats to Todd Kline, Bill Clark and Darrel Leonard on making the Final Four. The selection must have been difficult. For those interested to see Manuel's pumpkin in Windsor, we will post a pic soon on howarddill.com Also, we will be offering Manuel's seed very soon. Best to everyone! Danny
