Dave Dave Dave Dave Dave! Tsk tsk.......EVERYONE knows that Circleville is the Pumpkin Capital of The World! Just ask us!
But seriously, congratulations on HMB becoming a GPC site. We here in the Circleville area have always considered HMB our arch rival. Last year's weigh-off results between the two could not have been more dramatic, with Dr. Bob taking the honors by 1/2 pound! When the weight of Dr. Bob's pumpkin was announced, a loud cheer came from the crowd. But when it was announced that his had beaten Thad's by that half pound, and even louder cheer erupted. To Circleville residents, this is Ohio State versus Michigan.
I have been waiting to hear the buzz from the west coast this year, but haven't heard a peep. Methinks a sandbagger is lurking.
Tough weather here in Ohio this year. I look for HMB to take this year's honors. Good luck to all at HMB!
