Thank you Guys we have. The LONE kunz in the lead this morning with a $40 dollar bid. There is lots of talk this year about several new growers going green.
I have grown both of these seeds in the past. My first try with the 848* occurred in 2006 after I talked with Bob at Port Elgin. He sent me some seeds and I was off with beauty of a plant. It had very tall leaf stems and was a monster plant over 750' with a main vine that went out to nearly 60'. The fruit was the fastest I ever had grow and at 10 days it exceeded 40". To-date it is the fastest ever recorded in the benchmark data base. It topped out for me after a rib split in early September at 1073*. I was dreaming of a world record squash at the time. It hurt but I learned a lot from that plant.

The 848 gave us our patch best in 2007 with 995.5 lbs. The plant went in very late and still pulled out ahead of everything else. This is still the #1 squash seed in my opinion.
The 1055 hasn't been planted near as much and is also an excellent seed. It has produced one world record and likely has more in it!
