I had the extreme pleasure of having John weigh his fruit at my own GPC site the Cornerstone weigh-off. The event was witnessed by two former world record holders Brant Timm and Brad Wursten. We all mobbed John in a mad cap scene as the scale lurched all the way up to 1236* pounds of sweet green squash.
John is an amazing wealth of knowledge and has rocketed to the top of the hobby in just a few short years. His skills have helped the GVGO gain new world records for himself and others.
The 1236* is nothing short of an awesome potential seed in the years to come. Not only is this seed the World Record holder it will one day become the World Record producer.

John can expand on this topic a bit more if he wishes but it is no secret he was an RTI, CO2 user this past season. Much like Phil Hunts (1678)situation, John battled extremely cold and unseasonably low temperatures for the better part of last summer. For him to grow a world record under those conditions is a true testament to his skills as a grower.
$75.00 is an absolute steal for a seed that will be sure to pop several big ones next year.

Sorry, but sometimes i don't think its fair. Someone with money buys up the seeds. All i want is a chance to grow good seed, with out spending a lot. It seems Eddy, you buy a lot of seeds, do you plant all of them? I don't mean to pick a fight, or be disrespectful. But thats the way i feel. I do wish you a Happy Holidays.
Thank you Danny Reeb

Danny Your not the first to question my actions, and probably won't be the last, infact I know it won't be, Hell I question my own actions sometime.
Do I grow all the seeds I buy, No, some get grown, some are given away. I also have been setting up a cashe of all seeds, 2 of some and 3 of many, with most seeds of the last 8 years, especially the hot ones, this is for future crosses and preserving the genetics.
As for me taking both seeds, If this was the last few auctions of the year, I wouldn't have, but there will be plenty more, and infact, there is another pair going on right now, I have the 2 I was looking for, so you won't have me bidding against you, and actually you could have just bid again on the ones I won, You had 20 minutes from when I bid until the end of the auction. Anyway, good luck on the other 2
