ALL I HAVE HEARD IS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE AREA DIRECTORS, RIGHT DOWN TO THE COLOR OF THE GPC RIBBONS THIS YEAR, BY THE WAY I LOVE THEM! THANKS! DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND SOMEONE THAT PUTS THEIR HEART AND SOUL INTO A VOLUNTEER POSITION? THIS IS NOT A PAYING JOB, BUT IT SHOULD BE, WITH THE COST OF DRIVING TO SEVERAL WEIGH-OFFS AND TIME SPENT WITH ALL THAT GOES INTO ONE, SO TO FIND A PERSON THAT TRULY LOVES WHAT HE DOES FOR THE GPC FREE IS RARE, DO NOT LOOSE THESE GEMS WITH PETTY COMPLAINTS, , SO TO ALL THE GPC AREA DIRECTORS "BLESS YOU FOR A JOB WELL DONE!" LIKE YOUR AREA REP? SAY THANK YOU ON THIS POST!

everyone knows how i feel toward the gpc and its volunteers. i have said many times what a great job they do.
its a job a lot think they could do better, but only a few actually do it.

Matt does a tremendous job as our GPC rep for the New England area. We would be hard pressed to find a person who is as dedicated,energetic,knowledgeable,willing to spend the time that it takes to be a such an asset and he is very easy to work with. Topsfield and the NEGPGA work extremely hard to improve our weigh off every year and Matt along with Ken D. are a huge part of that. Thank You Guys for all you do.

well i'll try again, lost power for 3 hours in them middle of typing. Great Job Matt at all the New England weighoffs that you are involved in. I personally have seen you with hands on in many. And those of you that have been to a Team Pumpkin event know how friendly, enjoyable, and professionally run, they are. A perfect model of how an event should be done. you cant please everyone.

oh and a huge thank you, to matt d. and the rest of TEAM PUMPKIN , for all the hard work that went into the woodstock fair, its great how the fair organizers trusted in you guys to invest in several thousand dollars in equipment for the gpc weigh-off,
2,500 = gantry
350 = lifting rings
100 = trollies
150 = manual hoist
xxx = tent rental
1,800 = more in payouts
300 = GPC dues
not sure what the tent rental, fair banners,free pizza for the helpers! gene's apple crisp and the cost to pay the skid steer and driver also other things that where involved in the best weigh off for the woodstock fair ever. the director for the fair was so happy, i thought she would pass out. great job team pumpkin for getting them to trust in you guys to invest so much money for the event, it really paid off, you guys rock!!!!!!!
