With only 5 more days remaining in the second term of the president the question remains "who will be the next president ?" (Article IV,2). Article VI, 5 tells us the election process began on the 1st day of November and will be completed by the 31st day of December. The process should be well under way by now and the results imminent.

Do we watch for colored smoke or will there be a proclamation ?

here are the colored smoke codes as i understand them?

white smoke = added four more years to stelts term
black smoke = burned stelts at the stake
green smoke = grn squash growers jump ship to gpc
red smoke = tomato clubs get mad and form gtc
oran smoke = growers demand green squash take a back seat
gray smoke = no news just having a cook out
yello smoke = still voting - will let ya know
ltgrn smoke = watermelon club throws hat in for pres
pink smoke = women drop out form their own club fpc
no smoke = go fly a kite
