Hi everyone, I’m very excited about being the Great Lakes Rep for the steering committee. A little about me. I’ve been growing giant pumpkins for six years and am entering my third year of competitive growing. Last year I grew my PB at 1369.5 off of the Schmit 2261. Many may have seen me at the last two GPC Big Shows with my camera photographing the event. I love photography and have started a website, pumpkinphoto.com to share photos I have taken at the GPC events, IGPGA weigh-offs, WGPG events,
and SCGA weigh-offs. The website is my gift to the giant fruit growers to view, download and share photos totally free. On a personal basis, I live in the SW burbs of Chicago. I work at Northern Illinois University heading up their marketing and enrollment department for the Masters’ of Business Administration (MBA). I recently got engaged and hope to travel soon for a small destination wedding (not during kin season please!). Thanks again everyone for the well wishes.
