PUMPKIN SEED BRITTLE
2 cups sugar ½ cup water, to dissolve 2 tablespoons butter 1 ½ cups raw or baked seed meat
In a heavy bottomed sauce pan combine sugar and water. Boil, to a caramel color. Stir in butter and seeds with a wooden spoon. Pour out onto wax paper or a silicone pad, to cool. Break apart and serve.
The two types, of seed meats, provide distinctive different tastes. Try it both ways. We use no salt, in this candy.
From the kitchen, of docgipe.
