I will aim you at an amazing creation you may adjust and fix to your likings. My guidlines will require your pleasure to arrive at your secret recipe.

Set your food processer to grind or grate. You are looking for a small lumpy grind that looks like small pieces of crab meat.

Grind two cups of white meat squash and drain.

Add one egg and blend in the ground squash.

Add two or more hefty tablespoons of real butter.

Add cracker crumbs to your liking.

Easy now....add a pinch or two of your favorite sea food seasoning. I like Old Bay Seasoning.

Save any other salt for your second attempt or use at the table.

When it smells like crab cakes make patties.

Fry them in light butter and serve.

Have a glass of wine as they brown. Serve second glass to your guests. Promise not to tell them. Serve up as if they were crabcakes and enjoy the ruse.

I foxed out my hunting camp buddies. They never suspected I had put the putty to them. Crab meat is over $10.00 a pound. :)

It'll take more than one glass of wine to make squash taste like real crab here......G

Yey shall I say..."Yes I was in Ohio" where I met some realy nice RI pumpkin heads. So if 'ya weren't in Ohio last weekend past your sanity is questionable anyway. There are no excuses for that oversight. :)

And further more the doubter did not note that at least two glasses of wine were set aside for anyone being served the
crabless crabmeat. 'Ya gotta loosen up the doubters a little. :)
