In the mothers'pedigree of the top 100 official AGs of 2008,there are only 11 AGs from 2005 that occur more than once. The first digit is the number of times the AG shows up. 22-998 Pukos 10-1231 Pukos 5-992 Glasier 3-1407 Wolf 2-1028 Sherwood 2-991 Urena 2-1195 Glasier 2-1333 Connolly 2-812 Hilstolsky 2-1017 LaRue 2-1089 Timm
Would those growers,or any growers, know why these genes have survived??

They are proven genetics, people keep planting them because they have proven they are capable of growing a big pumpkin. Some seeds may not be there as much and are as capable as the other only they have'nt been planted as much/seen dirt. Is that what your asking.
