here is a list of some 2009 big'ns with power on both side. this info is taken from the gpc board, so the accuracy of knowing if the male pollinator was the same one used as stated that grew the growers other big one is uncertain. example: some growers with multiple plants of the same seed in their patch doesn't mean the pollen came from the same plant for pollination crosses. so correct me if wrong, but based on the gpc board crosses, these are some of the best 2009 power on both sides crosses. and who knows if they all have viable seeds or not at this time.
1. 1725 harp (1385 self) 3,450 lbs 2. 1544.5 revier (1385 x 1161) 3,126.5 lbs 3. 1316 harp (985 x 1385) 3,041 lbs 4. 1475 revier (1207 x 1385) 3,019.5 lbs 5. 1425 revier (985 x 1161) 3,004 lbs 6. 1503 neptune (1556.5 x 1521.5) 2969 lbs 7. 1466 neptune (1521.5 x 1556.5) 2969 lbs 8. 1662.5 stelts (904 x 1350) 2,910.5 lbs 9. 1445.5 werner (1161 x 1264.5) lbs 10. 1253 mcmullen (991 x 1119) 2,795 lbs 11. 1462 starr (1528 x 985) 2,763.5 12. 1432 northrop (998 x 1385) 2,626 lbs 13. 1194 northrop (1385 x 998) 2,626 lbs
these are just some of the big dogs with power on both sides from 2009. feel free to add more to the list or correct any data that is innaccurate. hopefully this helps when the seed auctions come back around for both the bidders and the clubs. chances are, a good portion of the above seeds will become hot and even hotter as the years go by.

1303 Should be a sweet seed #1 x #3 fruit in Michigan this year. Not sure what weather Ken had, but I was hard pressed to get over 100 lb in the far white north

"what was the 985 progeny that polinated thr 1462 starr"
Hey Alex, it was the 1301 Starr (18% heavy)
This is a very special accomplishment to me. Dog(s) got into its greenhouse June 2nd and smashed it flat, and I mean flat. Only about 3 secondaries remained and the main was broke. I was going to pull it, but because of advice from Jim Sherwood I left it. By July 1st you would never had known it was destroyed and was a very nice looking plant.
