Hi All! Last night as I was looking through my seed box, I found an 842 Eaton that I had won through a club raffle. What are your thoughts on this oldie but goodie? Thanks BP

I'd plant it. And just a thought, but if you have access to pollen from a 1725 Harp or pollen from a clone of the plant that grew it could make for an interesting cross.

A lot of growers would agree the it will grow a big one for you, but won't grow the biggest. It's had it's run and won't grow bigger ones in the future. Having said that, I would plant it. If I was a top class heavy hitter going for the world record, I might not.
