When your tilling infront of new growth, how close can you get to the plant. Or in other words how far past the plant do you think the roots are?

after watching mine for years before till i think theres to many factors to just say how much results will vary alot .its best to carefull use your finger and dig here and there to learn where and how far roots extend. soil structure will have alot to do with this and your overall growing skill and patch and plant will vary

jr to make it easy stay at least 3 feet away. for the most part you will be safe. also till on cool day then if you do hit roots plant is not over stressed and can recover easy and lastly always listen to don.
