Hello guys. This season I cross 2009 x 1789 and reverse. What do you think about this seed? 2009 plant produced my 1726 (PB-Italian record) 1789 plant produced my 1463.8 EST-DMG.It split at 48 DAP due to a duble dill ring.

Congratulations on your Italian record, Stefano. I think you should plant it!

If you have plenty of seeds of these crosses available, they would be a nice contribution to the EGVGA seed promo (in my opinion), the crosses look like a good number of European growers would be happy to give them a try.

I like it, and maybe cross it into orange as in your 1420 Cutrupi

Thanks all for replying. If somebody woul like to give it try.... write me: info@lezucchedelgallonero.it We all know 2009 potenzial and i believe that also 1789 have value. Two seeds that i would like to grow again. I have grown the 1789 seed over the past two season and i observed a stronger secondary root sistem in comparison to others plants. I really like 2009 x 1789 combination. 1725 in both side. I think my 1726 seed is the only 2009 x 1789 exsisting. The 1420 seed produced my 1382(1420x1789)HD awards winner in '13. The 1382 hase become orang and heawy producer (two over 1300lb in Italy). To day i have arvested seeds from my 1521(1791 x 2009). Just have to open my 1494(2009 x 2009) UOW. Fore sure we will share our seeds with EGVGA friends!
