If someone knows if it ever was made this cross: 1789 Wallace (The Freak) x Sibb ? It might be a good idea to save this genetic? I do not think there are still many seeds in the world in 1789.

Here are some, there may be more: 1655.00-FordGiven-12, 1512.00-Brownell-13, 1399.00-Fulk-13, 1386.00-Horton-12, 1289.00-Megchelsen-13, 1289.00-Giarrusso-13, 1234.60-Emidio-13, 628.00-Scherber-12, 457.00-Cope-12 and 411.40-Lovitt-13.
I agree with you it is a great seed with important genetics.
One of the rankings I do of seeds is based on the average weight of pumpkins grown that weigh at least 850 pounds (a crude way to include only those grown with serious effort) and for which there were at least 5 such pumpkins grown (a crude way to require some level of repeatability for the seeds included in the result set). Doing this the top seed is the 1744.5-Fulk-13 (220.3-Debacco-13 x 1789-Wallace-11) with 11 such pumpkins grown averaging 1484.77 pounds (1951 was the largest). The average OTT for the 11 was 411.45 and the average %heavy was 2.09%. This ranking doesn't mean the Fulk is the best seed, just the top seed when looking at them this way. It does though add weight to your thought that the 1789 may have some special genetics. It also suggests that the 1744.5-Fulk-13 is a seed more people should think about growing.
The list of the top 30 seeds on this list are on my web site www.shewmaker.com on the pumpkin tab.

My 148 Wagler is 1789 Freak x self (not sibbed). For those wondering why the plant had grown a 148 lbs pumpkin...I made this x self cross on a side vine while I had the big pumpkin growing on the main vine (which unfortunately died because of a blossom end damage in August 2012, but it was the fastest grower I´ve ever had though), and in order to save energyy for the big pumpkin, I had cut off the side vine with the genetics pumpkin, so that the 148 grew on the plant for some weeks only and then it continued to grow on a single vine with some tap roots only.
...for those interested in seeds of this 148 Wagler 12 (1789 Wallace x self), I still have some of those seeds left.

4 on The Freak 1789 that I have for this season, three have germinated, and it is my intention to crossed for Sibbed with 2 plants promising to preserve this formidable genetic, while the other crosses I will think in a couple of months, accepting your aid or proposals for crosses. I have many crosses valid to mix genetic freak, what do you suggest? I was thinking of doing one 2096Meier x or x2323 or x1947Clements?
