Newbie question here. Suppose I have 2 seeds from the same pumpkin, seeds 1 and 2. These seeds produce 2 plants, plants 1 and 2, which in turn produce 2 pumpkins each - pumpkins 1A, 1B, 2A, and 2B.
Are pumpkins 1A and 1B siblings to 2A and 2B? Or is 1A a sibling to 1B, and 2A a sibling to 2B? If this latter relationship isn't sibling, then what do you call 2 pumpkins from the same vine?

The term "sib" is used to describe the pollinating male of a plant that is from the same seed (seed 1) to the plant with the female (seed 2) 1A and 1B are referred to as two pumpkins from the same plant. If you want a term, I vote calling them "sisters" , and "first cousins" to 2A and 2B :)

A cross between plants 1 and 2 will result in those fruits seeds being called a sib.
