Who's going to make the next 2145 and how?

1195 Kaminski (1770.5 Lieber x self) x 1774.5 Carter (1756 H/J x self). 1770.5 Lieber is 1495 Stelts x self... same as the 1625.5 Gantner.

So to sum it up: adding an extra generation of selfing and using a more orange version of the 1625.5. There’s already a lot of remakes but hey what’s wrong with one more.

Jacob and I are going mostly orange this year. We will be self pollinating one of my 1047.5's a selfed 359 Foss. We will use the 1047.5 to pollinate 1143 and 1200 Engel, and maybe use one of the Engels on the other 1047.5. We will use one of the Engels to pollinate my 748. We are undecided what to do with Jacob's white 899, a selfed 1928 Globus. Most likely we will self pollinate it again this year.

Gonna cross my best plant with plant out off best pumpkin. Right now that's 1613.5 barlow x 2363 Holland but its too early. Gonna use my friends 2112 skinner to use as a pollinator on some of my others.

Going to try the 2150 Skinner x 2095 Brandy. The 2150 was slow and weak out of the gate- looks like the endosperm was barely developed- so hopefully it will catch up because I believe in the genetics

845 X 2106: i thought i read that wrong, as in my 845 X 1026. um, 783 Daletas X 1585 Werner and X 1385 H/J and their reverses and all the others' crosses as well---i should have grown a 1985 Miller to round out the '85s' grouping. will have to get another 1385 and 1585 for next year, lol; 783 is a gem of a seedling and goes into the ground today---eg

Going to try 1486 Jarvis X 2118 Jutras= Two world records crossed with each other but I am not impressed with the 2118 plant at all. It has struggled since coming out of the seed.

My 2118 is my best plant so far. I had another one that I had to throw out and a third one that is coming around but it’s competing with an 1844 and losing big time. Pic of my good one is in my diary. She just touched down today.

I am contemplating Tobeck 2002 X Tobeck 1836 and Tobeck 1836 X Tobeck 2002. One of those crosses could take the best characteristics of the 2145 and put it into one seed.
