Did anyone make this cross? Seems kinda obvious but the Paton's is the only one I know of. . . The pumpkins that made their cross look heavy. Hopefully it will be a good cross.

This year I made the cross 2269 Paton X 2363 Holland. The 2269 Patons Mother seed is the 2624. My fruit on the 2269 on day 47 taped to almost 1,400 pounds and cracked on day 47 three inches above the blossom. We let it stay with no care for the next ten days and then chopped her up with the inside showing a lot of rot. At that time she taped 1,634. A very fast grower with a 130 inch side to side measurement. The only flaw was when opened the bottom was not very thick and the inside wall by the crack was very thin? The two biggest pumpkins grown in 2017 were the 2363 and 2269 some growers believe in pollinating big to big to have the best chance for a repeat you be the judge!

2034 Paton(18) 2363x 2624, I crossed one into a 2150 Skinner cross, smooth skin, light orange, was in wet soil, first half of plant died back ,on me. Very thicke main vine, wanted to go, 600 pounds est.
