I am researching some genetics. Anyone know the parents of the 434 Gerhardt? And a really old one -- does anyone know the parents of the 876.5 Lloyd 1996?

876.5 Lloyd was 752 Craven x 752 Craven. http://www.bigpumpkins.com/MsgBoard/ViewThread.asp?b=3&p=31926 (BenDB, 1/31/2003 9:17:35 PM)
PS: My 552 Minor 2015 was a 603.5 Muller x self, 18% heavy. Seeds available.

The 434 was from my first year of growing. Neither parent made it to finish. The seeds were viable although I did a novice job of drying them. They have produced one HD winner along with the 923 Gerhardt and also another HD worthy pumpkin that I did not bring to a weighoff and a 1200 est dmg pumpkin that I grew on another plant the same year as the 923. Overall the 434 seed has a more 1230 phenotype than the 603.

I still have a few 434s that Jim gave me years ago. Let me know if anyone wants them. Cocey2002@yahoo.com
