I know Mike Franz did this last year. But I don't know if it was grown. There must also be others. How have these crosses faired?
  Thanks,
  Steve

That's right. Eric Gerry sent me this cross he produced this year. Good looking PW too.

Frantz did a (138# Big Max X 922.5 Emmons) in 2002, I grew it this year. I crossed it with a 940 Mombert '98, same as the pollinator for the 922.5 Emmons. Mine was 208# and there's pics in last years diary. Quite a few people have requested seeds from it this year, VERY nice color...and the 940 Mombert plant grew me a pumpkin that was almost red. If Mike grew a (PW X AG) that would be news to me, he never mentioned it and we talked over the summer. He may have tho'. Jack LaRue grew a (Prizewinner X 567.5 Mombert) in 2002?, it was 300#. Jim Sherwood took that cross and grew it in 2003. Got a 590# and crossed with an 801.5 Stelts. My plan is to cross my 208# with Jim's 590# this year, or the 731 Stucker, haven't quite decided yet. They did good got a bunch of 80lbers. They were planted in with the Jack o lanterns. We had no rain during the main growing period last year. Looked like prizewinners. Red/Orange in color.

I talked to Mike Frantz, he didn't do PW x AG last year, just the 120 Frantz I grew....his was in 2002. E-mail me if you'd like to see pics of the 208# Little and it's pollinator....bee-u-tee-ful!
