Besides the 2183 and 1885, do any seeds stick out to you as ones to grow in 2022? I like the 1953 daletas '20, it grew a 2218 and 1959 (22% heavy) this year.

I would have to say one for myself is my 842 Squash which is 1652 Zappa x 1109 Justras. I got the pollen from Cindy Tobecks 1109 Jutras that weighed in at 2030 and 18% heavy.

Wow--did not expect 10 of the top 20 for the year to come from two seeds. I expect the 2350 will remain popular for its combination of proven 2K and HD potential.

The 1953 Daletas was the one that caught my eye. Some of the 2350's outcrossed with big and orange could be good.

I would look at the 1686 Stelts, it grew a 2112 last year and 2133.5 this year and all most no one planted it.

1940 Urena(20)....it only had 1 official weight, but that official weight was a 2356 Booth(21). It was also 12% heavy. Yes, this could be the new meta. Anyone know where I can get 2 seeds?? LOL

Glad you said that, Quinn. I liked it, too, and was surprised that it hadn't been planted much.

This is definitely biased, but I’m planting the 21’1018 McMillin (2112 Stelts x Self) and the 21’ 1691.5 McMillin (2593 Patton x Self). I think the 17’ 2016.6 BoonenHerman has been overlooked. 1953 Daletas, 2201 Wallace, 2241VanGeel, 2033 Kisamore, 2003 Kisamore, 1695Booth, 2195 Theil, 1699 Theil, 2261 Schmitt, 1747 Handy, (2047,1648,1857.Daletas) 2191 Uhlmeyer, 2294 Noel.
And you can help but wonder about the 1452 Powell, 1046 Kueny…

The 1747.5 Handy should be up there, as far as I know, it has been grown 3 times. It grew a 23%, 15%, and 13% heavy pumpkin. The 1686 Stelts should also be planted more. The smaller pumpkins (<1800) with good genetics don't even get looked at, but get proven to be good seeds every year. Maybe a little biased, but the 1699 Theil should be planted more, it grew a 19% heavy. I personally can't wait to see what I can do with it next year

The 1542 urena has grown a 2142 and 2304. I enjoyed growing it this year.
The 1686 and 1747 look promising as well.

Hopefully there’s a good seed count from the 2365 Wolf. The pollinator (2174 Daletas) is the reverse cross of the 1953 Daletas, which produced very well this year. That would be my #1 choice out of all the 2021 seeds.

@McMillin Giants, don't sleep on that 1046 Kueny! Solid genetics and heavy too! Not that I'm biased or anything... ...but seeds come out tomorrow!

You guys are making me feel good about my seeds. I have a 2365 wolf and a 1953 Daletas in my drawer. I have room for two more. If you could pick only two seeds to grow what would you pick? I'm thinking a Mendi of some sort.

Bayuk & Booth, those 2 float my boat, despite the fact neither made all the way to the dock...

*note about Booth it was the pollinator that didnt make it all the way.
Wish I could grow both. At the moment I'm not planning to grow any AG's at all.
