I have purchased a new computer with VISTA. Knownly I have in so doing obsoleted a very good digital camera. It is working in every way, comes with a charger and three close up lens assessories. It is well used but never abused. All systems working good as new including battery condition. This is the camera that makes and supports a very high percentage of eBay listings. The pictures go onto a standard floppy. A few years back it was the best in the West at the $7-800.00 range. It is the SONY MAVICA, 2 MPs, 10X optical zoom, built in flash. It has automatic settings for several modes I never used like...seashore, sepia, backlighted subject and black and white. Product listed as Sony, MVC-FD71. My price $40.00 firm for the package and $10.00 shipping and insurance. Accepting money order or cashiers check for immediate shipping or personal check for shipping when check clears.

If you're attached to the camera, you can always spend $10-15 on a 3.5" floppy drive instead! Most new computers don't come with a floppy drive thanks to BIOS' supporting "boot from CD-ROM" but they usually still have a slot or two available to add one. :-)

USB floppy. as for VISTA I just trashed it from a new computer. don't need it and don't want it. upgrade to XP

Thank you all for the suggestions. I have my mind set and investigation going on a new 8 - 10 MP camera for better desk top publishing and following a grandson's wrestling which is getting exciting. Most publishers will not accept less than 4 MP shots now.

I also need to push myself into work producing new images in my various hobby and free lance works. I was getting lazy leaning on the aging library too.

The Mavica uses the 3.5 floppy. They are selling at or about this price range on eBay at the rate of several each day....without the close up lens set and sometimes without the battery charger. Any more I will not buy used electronics there for more than one reason.

Did you get to go to districts or regional HS wrestling in Williamsport? My nephew took second at each event, he is a sophopmore. Darin ROckwell from Towanda.. Keep your eye on him! Future state champ! He finished 6th in the state at 215, taking every single match at the state tournament to double overtime!
