Tom, or Joel... never had the need for soil heating cables, but if you were planting 2 plants back to back, growing away from each other...could one set of cables be set up to heat the soil enough for 2 plants? Just curious? Peace, Wayne

Sorry, I have not checked in for awhile. The cables are 200 watts and 1.7 amps. I use 1 cable per plant. I have heard of some growers who plant back to back using 1 cable for both plants. The cables are not designed to connect together. I demonstrate in my 07 DVD installing a 40' heavy duty cable. Thanks.
